
Carolyn (Shaw) Bellingham, 74, of Vernon, loving wife of 43 years to Donald Lee Bellingham, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 14, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family.
Born in Bangor, Maine the daughter of the late Mason and Lillian (Leighton) Shaw, she grew up in Bangor and lived in Waterville, Maine before moving to Manchester where she lived for several years before moving to Vernon in 1975.
Prior to her retirement, Carolyn was employed as a customer service representative at Dari Farms Inc. in Tolland for many years. She previously was a school teacher in Waterville, Maine and in Manchester. She was a member of the Manchester Historical Society and the Vernon Greenways Volunteers.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Andrew and Bethany Bellingham of Lowell, MA; her grandson, Asher Bellingham; her brother, Vernon Shaw of Eddington, ME. She was predeceased by her brother, Allan Shaw.
Her family will receive friends for calling hours on Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Road (Route 83), Vernon. Burial will be private and at the convenience of her family.
