
Charlotte A. Zagura, 86, of Rockville, beloved wife of the late Joseph Zagura, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016.
She was born November 10, 1929 in Toledo, OH, daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Sienkowski) Badas, Sr. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, traveling, taking trips to the casino, and hosting family parties. Charlotte was a member of the Rosary Society with St. Joseph’s Church, the St. Helen Society, and the church choir.
She is survived by her children Sue Litwin and her husband Ron of Vernon, David Zagura and his wife Verna of Denham Springs, LA, and Michael Zagura and his wife Sandy of New Britain. She also leaves her grandchildren Annie and Anthony Litwin, Michelle Barton and her husband Mike, Tom Zagura, Lauren and Kylee Mattis as well as two great grandchildren Riley Zagura and Charlie Barton. Charlotte was predeceased by her daughter Marianne Mattis, her brothers Peter Badas, Jr. and Larry Badas; her step-brothers Frank Cherry, Steve Cherry, Dan Cherry, John Cherry; her step-sisters Stella Cherry and Sophie Wojtowicz.

The family would like to thank the staff at Fox Hill Nursing Home and the staff at the ECHN Visiting Nurses Hospice for their compassionate care.

Relatives and friends may join the family on Monday, March 7, 2016 from 4-7 PM at the Small & Pietras Funeral Home, 65 Elm St., Rockville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Church, Rockville. Burial will follow at St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Vernon.
