Vernon Obituary: Daniel Lewie, 49

Daniel J. "Danny" Lewie, 49, of Clearwater, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on March 9, 2018.

Dan lived in Connecticut most of his life until he moved to Tucson, Arizona. He moved to Portland, Oregon, after a few years. He moved back to Connecticut to see old friends and his dad, later, he moved to Florida, where he met his loving wife, Beki and his wonderful sons, Bob and Jimmie.

He has been a general manager for several hotels. He made it a goal to make everyone laugh. Daniel attended Rockville High School and MCC. He loved to travel. loved to read and always had a book with him. His passion was fishing.

Dan leaves behind his wife, Rebecca Morano Lewie; sons Robert and James Morano; his mother Grace Avery and her husband, Mark Avery; father Donald J. Lewie; and three sisters, Cheryl Parks, Deanne Pennington, and Elizabeth Chappell; nieces and nephews, KC, Jill, Chris, Kyle, Cody, and Josh.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
