
David Earl Judson, Jr., 54, of Vernon, devoted husband of Melinda (Allen) Judson and father of Bruce David Judson, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, November 17, 2016. His strong will to live, unwavering faith in God, and the love and prayers of family and friends carried him through over two years of battling cancer.
David was born in Culver City, California to the late David Earl and Mary Sylvia (Hollis) Judson on May 13, 1962. His family traveled throughout his childhood, and David felt that Missouri would always have a special place in his heart. He faithfully served our country stationed in Guam in The United States Air Force.
Throughout his life, David always maintained a kind and simple demeanor that won the trust and heart of many which gave him much success as a businessman. Creating family memories brought David much joy and among some of his favorites were attending Red Sox and Patriots games with his son, Bruce. Most recently David treated his wife to an unforgettable cruise to Alaska in celebration of 24 years of marriage. David will always be remembered for his love and loyalty to his wife and son and his dedication to the Lord. To Melinda and Bruce, David will always be their Hero.

David is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years Melinda Judson; his cherished son Bruce Judson; his brother Mark Judson and his wife Lynn of Georgia, their children Ashley and Amanda Judson; his sister Lisa French and her husband Steve of Virginia, their daughter Sara French; his endeared father and mother-in-law Bruce and Gloria Allen, whom he referred to as Pop and Ma; his sisters-in-law Brenda Allen and her children Adam and Kathleen Copp, Patricia Johnson and her daughter Sarah Johnson.
A time of visitation is being held on Monday, November 21, 2016 at Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Road (Route 83), Vernon, from 3:30 to 5 pm. A service is being held at the funeral home at 5pm. Interment with military honors is being held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 2 pm at Woodlawn Cemetery in Westbrook, Maine.
