
Joanne Hladki, 62, of South Windsor, died peacefully on Friday, February 23, 2018 at Rockville General Hospital with her family by her side.
Born in New Britain on August 14,1955 to the late Armond and Doris (Madore) Raymond, she lived in Vernon for many years before settling in South Windsor. Joanne worked at Stop and Shop in Vernon for 27 years. She loved to crochet, solve puzzles, play BINGO and go to the casino, but her true passion was her family who will miss her dearly.
She is survived by her daughters, Nichole Hladki of Vernon, Rebecca Tamsin and her husband John of Hebron, Stacey Hladki of Bowling Green, KY, and Andrea Hladki of Vernon; her brother, Jim Raymond and his wife Mary of Southington; her sisters, Theresa Stankoski of Plainville and Brenda Humphrey and her husband Ray of New Britain; her grandchildren Alexis, Jayden, Jason, Tiffany, Steven, Douglas, Elizabeth and Emma; her devoted friend and companion Bob Irvine; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to all of the staff in the ICU who cared for Joanne.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, March 1 at the Ladd Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Rd, Vernon followed by burial in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Her family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday from 10 AM to 11 AM.
