
Julia (Lojzim) Povlosky, 92, of Rockville, beloved wife of the late Michael “Mickey” Povlosky, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 1, 2016 at Manchester Memorial Hospital.
Born in Coventry, the daughter of the late John and Mary (Morowicz) Lojzim, she grew up in Tolland and has lived in Rockville for over 68 years. Prior to her retirement in 1986, Julia was employed at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford for 23 years. She attended St. Bernard Church in Rockville. Julia enjoyed taking care of her home with her husband, and she loved gardening, taking care of her flowers and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Dotson of Glenpool, OK; two grandchildren, Michael Liebe and his wife Megan of Rockville, and Chrissy Hurst and her husband Nicholus of Bixby, OK; five great grandchildren, Dylan and Gillian Liebe of Rockville, and Kaden, Zoe and Chloe Hurst of Bixby, OK and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her son, Ronald Povlosky, four brothers, John, Steven, and William Lojzim and James Loyzim, and two sisters, Margaret Lojzim and Betty Nicewicz.

Her family would like to thank dear family friends, Ricki and Charlie Dubuque, and her niece and nephew, Cindy and Larry Nicewicz for all their love and support for Julie.
Her family will receive friends for calling hours on Thursday, February 4 from 9 – 11 a.m. at the Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Road (Route 83), Vernon followed by a funeral service at the funeral home beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Rockville.
