Vernon Obituary: Marie Martin Collins, 89

Marie Lucille Martin Collins, 89, of Rockville, beloved wife of the late Herve Martin and Aime Collins, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Rockville Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on August 3, 1926 in Burlington, VT to the late Napoleon and Leonie Boucher. She was employed by East Hartford Aircraft Federal Credit Union. She was a communicant of St. Bernard’s Church. She was a loving mother devoted to her family. She enjoyed Bingo, bowling and bus trips.

Marie will be dearly missed by her daughters, Irene Sullivan and her husband Doug of East Hartford, Blue Barber and her husband Mike of Coventry and Alice Baughn and her husband Larry of Oakville; her sister, Doria Tremblay of Manville, RI; 7 grandchildren, Dorene Willey, Ethan Powell, Mike Barber, Scott Barber, Kelly Gassett, Kevin Gebhard, Jr., Randy Gebhard; 5 great grandchildren Matthew Willey, Kevin Gebhard III, Kaylee Gebhard , Dustin Gassett, Genavieve Barber and her dear friend, Frances Schultz. In addition to her husbands, Marie was predeceased by her son, Gerard Martin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00AM, on Monday, October 26, 2015, at St. Mary’s Church, 15 Maplewood Ave., East Hartford, please meet directly at church. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.
