Vernon Obituary: Martha Bertsch, 95

Martha (Wagner) Bertsch, 95, of Vernon, died March 10, 2016 at Rockville General Hospital.

She was a lifelong resident of Rockville. She retired as a bookkeeper in 1996 from Cheney Brothers, she served as the financial secretary at the First Lutheran Church in Ellington for 35 years. She enjoyed bowling and belonged to the Vernon Senior Bowling League. She spent the last 15 hears living at Florence Mills where she met numerous friends.

The family would like to thank Fox Hill and Rockville General Hospital for their compassionate care.

She is survived by her daughter Kathleen M. Falkenstern and her husband Donald; her sister Carrie Tyler; her grandson David W. Falkenstern and his wife Idil and their children Tulin and Figen; her granddaughter Kristyn R. Falkenstern and her fiancé Steve Heard and a niece and a nephew and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Robert and her sisters; Olga Sieber and Erma Berger.

All services will be private at the convenience of the family.
