Vernon Obituary: Michael Lynch, 62

Michael B. Lynch, of Vernon, passed from his earthly journey at the age of 62 on Friday Dec. 2, 2016 at Rockville General Hospital.

He was born on July 30, 1954 in Hartford, son of the late James T., Sr. and Doris (Tyler) Lynch. Michael attended East Windsor High School. He had resided in Vernon since 1975 and in Broad Brook before that. Mike was employed with the Town of Vernon Public Works Dept. for 35 years and with NAPA Auto Parts. He enjoyed tinkering on electronical items such as radios, sewing machines, TVs etc, loved a good joke, and his canine companion “Chelsea”.

Michael is survived by his four sisters; Kathleen Zetscher of MD, Carolyn Derocher of Enfield, Maureen MacDonald of Enfield and Judy Hesse of Enfield, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, Michael was also predeceased by a brother, James T. Lynch, Jr.

Services and burial for Michael will be private at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations in his memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
