Vernon Obituary: Ryszard Hipp, 69

Ryszard “Rich” J. Hipp, 69, of Vernon, beloved husband of Cathy (Miner) Hipp, passed away at home on Monday, February 22, 2016.

Rich was born in Germany to the late Ferdynand and Feliksa (Lasak) Hipp, and immigrated to America in 1957. He was a proud veteran and served in the United States Marine Corps during Vietnam.

Rich is survived by his wife Cathy; his brother Fred Hipp of Hartford; his sister Wanda Dudack and her husband George of Windsor, and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Road (Route 83), Vernon from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. with a service at the funeral home at 1 P.M. Burial will be private and at the convenience of his family.

Memorial donations in Rich’s name may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
