Vernon Office Building Broken Into

VERNON, CT — Vernon police are investigating a break-in at a small office building on Route 30 over the weekend.

The building is at 310 Hartford Turnpike, the local name for the state road, and sits next to Burger King. It houses two law offices, a counseling service and church administration offices.

One business owner said all offices but the counseling service were entered.

One of the law offices was missing some cash, but the other had nothing missing. No documents with any personal client information seem to have been taken, one law office owner said.

Police said the incident is under investigation.
