The Vernon Pet Pantry desperately needs dry cat food for pets of less-fortunate families.

VERNON, CT — The Vernon Pet Pantry is making an urgent appeal to the community after completely running out of dry cat food supplies to help support local pet owners in need.
The pantry is a partnership with the Hockanum Valley Community Council.
Officials said donations of dry cat food of any brand and any bag size are urgently needed as supplies have been depleted.
