Vernon Police Arrest Man in Alleged Road Rage Incident
The man allegedly pulled out a gun and pointed it at victims.

A Bloomfield man was arrested after he allegedly pulled out a gun and pointed it at people during a road rage incident.
Maurice Butler, 50, was arrested on Dec. 4. Butler was driving southbound on Talcottville Road heading toward Manchester with his 14-year-old daughter in the passenger seat, according to a police report.
Butler was allegedly witnessed pulling his hand gun from the interior of the vehicle and pointing it at another vehicle filled with occupants.

Butler then drove on the highway.
Police arrested Butler at his home and transported him to the Vernon Police Department.

He was charged with risk of injury to a child, first-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree threatening, second-degree breach of peace and criminal use of a weapon.
