Vernon Police Arrest Man for Naked Intersection Incident

The man was seen naked at a busy Vernon intersection, police said.

VERNON CT — A Vernon man was to appear in court on Tuesday to explain his arrest for hanging around a busy intersection in nothing but his birthday suit, police said.

At 9 p.m. on Feb. 24, police received a call about a naked man standing on the side of the road at the Hart Hill Road-Skinner Road intersection, according to an arrest report. The man then ducked inside the home at 16 Skinner Road, according to an arrest report.

Police went to the home and saw a man putting on his pants before answering the door, according to arrest report.

The man was subsequently identified as Ronald Hicking, 63, of that address. He was charged with disorderly conduct, police said.
