Vernon Police Dog Boone Now Featured On Trading Cards

VERNON, CT — Vernon police dog Boone has his own trading card.

Boone, a Belgian Malinois, and his handler, Officer James Platosh, were showing off the cards at Tuesday's National Night Out event that promotes positive interaction between law enforcement and the community.

And Boone is quite the ambassador, whether it's taking the lead on a drug bust or greeting young citizens at public events.

The cards are available through Platosh (even when getting pulled over) and the Vernon Police Department.

Boone's card joins that of his VPD canine colleague, Franco.
