Vernon Police Get 'Arrested' for Special Olympics
Vernon police officers are accepting bail money for the Special Olympics to get out of jail.
VERNON, CT — The Vernon Police Association on Friday hosted a "Jail-and-Bail" event to benefit the Special Olympics.
Chief James Kenny, Captain John Kelley, Lt. William Meier and Lt. Luke Gallant were "arrested" and had to post a "bond" through donations to the Special Olympics in order to get released.
The event was scheduled from noon to 4 p.m.
