Vernon Police ID Motorcycle Driver Killed In Tuesday Crash

VERNON, CT — Vernon police Wednesday identified the motorcyclist who was killed Tuesday in a crash on Prospect Street.

The are also still looking for the driver of one of the three cars involved.

Tuesday's crash took place at 2:48 p.m.

The crash involved a white 2018 Infiniti Q50 and the identity of the driver is unknown, police said. The driver fled the scene of the crash, police said.

The motorcycle, a 2008 Harley Davidson, was operated by James Faulkner, 25, of Vernon. Faulkner was transported to Rockville General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to police.

Also involved were two parked vehicles, a 2005 Subaru Legacy and a 2015 Kia Optima.

Vernon police Wednesday were actively looking for the operator of the white Infiniti. Vernon police, with the assistance of Metro Traffic Services, are still investigating the crash.

No charges have been filed.

Police are asking any that witnesses or anyone with information on the Infiniti to contact Officer Matt Guilmette at 860-872-9126.
