Woman Seriously Hurt In Vernon Stabbing Incident
Vernon police on Tuesday were investigating a stabbing incident with a serious injury.
VERNON, CT — Vernon police descended on Bellevue Avenue late Tuesday morning to investigate a stabbing.
The road was closed off with a heavy law enforcement presence at the Regan Street intersection.
A bicycle could be seen in the center of the road and the area was taped off. Investigators were congregating near a home.

Police at the scene said a stabbing victim had serious injuries. At about 11 a.m., Police had all "involved parties" in custody, a department sokesman said.
Police at the scene said an "adult female" suffered a stab wound to a leg. She was initally brought to Rockville General Hospital and then transferred to Hartford Hospital, police said.

The woman was in critical condition, police said.
