VERNON, CT — A weekend vehicle fire in Vernon has turned into a police investigation.

Vernon police said the fire broke out at 4:42 a.m. Sunday along the 200 block of West Main Street.

The car was not fully engulfed in flames, and was extinguished quickly, but the circumstances are potentially suspicious, police said.
