Vernon Police Looking For Video In Car Fire Investigation
Vernon police are still investigating a raging vehicle fire from last month.

VERNON, CT — Vernon police are still investigating a raging vehicle fire that erupted in the center portion of town late last month and are asking anyone in the area with home security video showing suspicious activity to share it.
The incident dates back to June 26, when, at about 12:45 AM, Vernon officers responded to the area of Trout Stream Drive after getting a report that a vehicle was on fire.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found an unoccupied vehicle on fire, a report indicates. Soon after, police received another complaint about someone walking through the woods on Cold Spring Drive, according to a report.

No one was located.
Police said the vehicle was a newer model Acura with no license plates. It was later determined to be stolen, police said.
