Vernon Police Make Their Annual Run For Special Olympics
The Special Olympics Torch Run made its way through Vernon Thursday.
VERNON, CT — Thursday marked another year for members of the Vernon Police Department in the Connecticut Special Olympics Torch Run.
Runners were accompanied by police vehicles and Special Olympics of CT support vehicles.
Runners begin at the Tolland/Vernon town line on Mile Hill Road (Route 31 ), veered onto Hartford Turnpike (Route 30) and finished on the Manchester line.
