Vernon Police: Man Accused of Flexing Muscles Around Woman's Head Outside Local Gym

VERNON, CT - A Vernon was taken into custody on Tuesday morning and charged with second-degree breach of peace for allegedly putting a woman in a headlock outside a local gym, police said.

According to an arrest report, witnesses told police that a man had the woman in the headlock after the two argued in the Cardio Express parking lot off Route 83. The woman was screaming for help, witnesses said, according to an arrest report.

The man was identified by police as Freddie Williams, 23, of High Street in Vernon.
