Vernon Police Release Photo of Suspected Robbers
Police ask anyone with info to all Detective Hicking at 860-872-9126 ext. 224.

Vernon police are investigating two armed robberies that occurred Tuesday night.
The first robbery occurred at 7:44 p.m. at the Rubia Food Mart, according to police. A suspect with a knife robbed the store. He is described as being in his 20’s, about 6 feet tall and a thin muscular build. He was wearing a dark sweatshirt and blue jeans
The second robbery occurred at 11:34 p.m. at the 7-11 Store at West and Union streets. The suspect was armed with a handgun.

The suspect is described as a male in his 20’s that is about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a Chicago Bulls hat with a “winter camo” brim.
