Vernon Police Searching For Strip Joint Shooter
Two people were shot during a New Year's Eve altercation at a gentlemen's club in Vernon, police said.

VERNON, CT — It was gunshots rather than noisemakers and hugging and kissing as 2023 turned into 2024 at a strip joint in Vernon, police said.
The shooter was still at large Monday, police said.
The incident took place at 11:56 p.m. on New Year's Eve at Lucky's Cabaret at 65 Windsor Ave., police said. When officers arrived at the scene, they encountered two men who had sustained gunshot wounds.

As the clock turned past midnight, both victims were treated at the scene by Vernon EMS and transported to Hartford Hospital. They were both listed in stable condition, police said.
