Vernon Police Track Down Wanted Woman at Hotel After She Sneaks Out of Hospital: Report
She had violated probation, police said.

VERNON, CT — A woman sneaked out of the hospital, went to a local hotel but wound up in the lockup after police discovered she was wanted for violating probation.
The saga of 27-year-old Elizabeth Henault unfolded just after 4 a.m. Saturday, when Vernon police were called to Rockville General Hospital because a woman had left the campus before being released, according to an arrest report.
Police said they tracked her down at the local Motel 6.

She had an active arrest warrant for violating probation on a 2015 sentence for illegally operating a motor vehicle and two subsequent failure to appear charges out of East Hampton, according to judicial system records.
It was a one-year suspended sentence with two years probation, according to court records.
