Vernon Principal Duct Taped to Wall for a Good Cause

Funds were raised for the American Cancer Society through the local Relay for Life chapter.

Vernon Center Middle School students were apparently very eager to see Principal Jim Harrison duct-taped to a wall as part of a Relay for Life challenge.

Harrison agreed to be taped to a wall if 150 tickets were sold to Activity Night on Feb. 20. About 200 students participated in Activity Night.

Students and staff participated in activities including basketball, volleyball, ping pong and human hungry hippos. Proceeds went to the American Cancer Society.
