Vernon Registrars Offer Update On Absentee Ballots
Absentee ballot rules are posted for the November election.

VERNON, CT — Here is an absentee ballot update for Vernon voters:
The Vernon Registrars of Voters are reminding people that absentee ballot applications are now available and may be obtained from the Town Clerk’s office by calling 860-870-3662 or by visiting the Town Clerk’s Office on the first floor of town hall, 14 Park Place, Rockville.
Applications are also available for downloading by visiting: https://portal.ct.gov/SOTS/Election-Services/Voter-Information/Absentee-Voting
After downloading and filling out the form please send it to Town Clerk, Town of Vernon, 14 Park Place, Vernon, CT 06066.
Connecticut law allows you to receive an absentee ballot if you cannot appear at your assigned polling place on election day because of active service in the Military, absence from the town, sickness, religious tenets forbid secular activity on the day of the election, duties as an election official at a polling place other than your own during all of the hours of voting, or physical disability.
