Vernon Registrars Send Out Absentee Ballot Reminder

VERNON, CT — The Vernon Registrars of Voters this week were reminding residents that absentee ballots may only be obtained at the Town Clerk's Office.

The office is located at 14 Park Place in Vernon.

Applications may be picked up in person or by calling 860-870-3662. Voters should request ballots soon as the applications must be mailed out, returned when completed and then an official ballot will be mailed out, officials said.

Final completed official ballots may be mailed back or put in the Dropbox in front of town hall.

Also, the deadline to register for the Nov. 7 election is October 31. Residents may register at the Town Clerk’s Office or by going online to voterregistration.ct.gov.
