VERNON, CT — A 33-year-old Vernon resident is accused of allowing a fight to take place between young people and is facing eight counts of risk of injury to a child as a result, police said.

Christina Richardson posted a $100,000 bond in the case and is due back in court on Aug. 2, according to an arrest report. She is also charged with a single count of second-degree reckless endangerment, records show.

The fight took place at a West Main Street apartment complex, according to an arrest report. The report indicated that Richardson was present for a fight between "two juveniles" and did nothing to "prevent" it. She later explained she was "sick" of a bullying situation and thus allowed the fight to take place, according to an arrest report.
