Vernon Resident Wins Big Lottery Prize

VERNON, CT — A resident of the Rockville section of Vernon recently won $10,000 on a scratch ticket, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

The resident won $10,000 on a 50X the cash scratch ticket that was sold at Big Y at 33 Fieldstone Cmns in Tolland, according to lottery officials.

The CT Lottery no longer publishes winners’ names without their written consent in accordance with a new Connecticut law, which was effective Oct. 1, 2025.
