Vernon Residents Facing Narcotics Charges After Headlight Violation
A Sunday traffic stop leads to drug charges, police said.

VERNON, CT — Two Vernon residents wound up with narcotics charges after a traffic stop early Sunday morning.
At 1:55 a.m., an officer patrolling Reservoir road noticed a vehicle go by with faulty headlights, according to an arrest report.
The car was then pulled over and the driver and passenger was found to have narcotics, according to an arrest report.

The driver, Arnaldo Arroyo, 55, of Thompson Street in Vernon, was charged with narcotics possession, operating a car without a license, and the headlight violation, police said.
The passenger, 31-year-old Rebecca Wegryn, also of Thompson Street, was charged with narcotics possession and possessing drug paraphernalia, police said.

Both posted bonds of $15,000 and are expected on court on July 11, police said.
