Vernon Road Rage Incident Leaves Driver With Charges

VERNON, CT — A 60-year-old driver is facing four criminal charges in connection with a road rage incident in Vernon, police said.

The incident took place at 6:34 a.m. on Feb. 7, according to an arrest report released Thursday. That day, police responded to the 500 block of Talcottville Road after receiving a call about a car that had been intentionally rammed by another vehicle, according to an arrest report.

A 60-year-old man, who is a West Hartford resident, was subsequently charged with reckless driving, second-degree reckless endangerment, following two closely and disorderly conduct.

He is due in court on Feb. 21.
