Vernon Santa House Ready For 2023 Season With Different Hours
The Santa House will again be located next to Vernon Town Hall for the holiday season.
VERNON, CT — The Santa House is back in Vernon for the 2023 holiday season with new hours inspired by popular demand.
The Santa House is situated across from Vernon Town Hall in Central Park. If offers local children a chance to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus free of charge.
The Santa House officially open for the season on Dec. 2.

The Santa House will not be open on Sundays this year. Rather, based on citizen input it will be open Thursdays from Dec. 7 through Dec. 21 from 4 to 7 p.m.
"From what residents have told us, it will be a better day," Santa House founder Michael Wendus said. "People can enjoy a visit with Mrs. and Mrs. Clause on a weeknight and then head to Henry Park to enjoy the light display."

Saturday hours will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. from Dec. 2 through Dec. 23.
