Vernon School Meal Handouts Increase On Day 2 Of Program
Day 2 of free school meals in Vernon was more successful than Day 1.
VERNON, CT — A total of 150 school meal packages, both breakfast and lunch, were served in Vernon Tuesday on the second day of the free distribution program related to coronavirus closures.
Vernon served a total of 129 breakfasts and lunches Monday.
A drive-up lane is set up at Vernon Center Middle School for the program.

Meals are being served from 9 to 11 a.m. at VCMS. The schedule could change based on need, school officials said.
