Vernon Sex Offender On Registry For Life Charged With Renewal Violation
A warrant has charged a lifetime sex offender registrant from Vernon with a renewal failure.

VERNON, CT — A Vernon resident who has permanent status on the Connecticut Sex Offender Registry has been charged with failure to comply with renewal requirements.
Hector Berrios, 64, was arrested last Wednesday on the strength of a warrant, police records show.
He was released on a $10,000 bond and is expected in Rockville Superior Court on May 5, records show.

According to the warrant for his arrest, Berrios was convicted on a third-degree sexual assault charge in October 1992 and the violent nature of the crime required lifetime inclusion on the sex offender registry.
His listed address is 138 Union St., Apt. 1, in. Vernon.
