Vernon Students Chosen For National Invention Convention

VERNON, CT — Kiley Gray and Madalyn Saucier, two fifth-grade students from Vernon's Cener Road School, were chosen to attend this year's National Invention Convention at the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation in Dearborn, MI.

They are the first girls from CRS to attend and the 3rd/4th students to ever be invited from the school.

Kiley's invention is called the Tracker Ball 300. It is a dog ball that uses an app on an iPhone to track/find it when it goes missing in the yard.

Madalyn's invention is called the Dog Saver. It is a cage-like device that protects a dog with anxiety when they go to the vet for a check-up.

The National Invention Convention is taking place this week.
