Vernon Teachers, Students Show Mutual Admiration With Parade
Vernon teachers and students from Center Road School and RHS took a break from remote learning with a parade Tuesday.

VERNON, CT — As online and remote learning intensified in Vernon this week amid the coronavirus pandemic, teachers from Center Road School and Rockville High School took to the neighborhoods in their vehicles to lighten the stress and to show appreciation for local students' efforts.
Tuesday's parade featured honking horns and waving arms on the part of the teachers and signs held up by students to show appreciation right back to the educators.
