Vernon Town Clerk's Office To Close Temporarily For Upgrades
Installation of a new system will shut down the Vernon Town Clerk's office for a day-and-a-half next week.

VERNON, CT — A system upgrade in the Vernon Town Clerk’s Office is scheduled for next week and will require the office to be closed to the public for a day-and-a-half, town officials said.
The new system, approved by the Vernon Town Council, is designed to enhance operations in the Town Clerk's office. The new system will be linked to the office's many functions, including vital records, land records and dog licenses.
The office will be closed Monday, Jan. 23 and reopen at noon on Tuesday, Jan. 24 to allow time for the system to be installed and tested, officials said.
