Vernon Town Hall To Be Featured In Upcoming Film
A film crew has been visiting town hall in Vernon this week and the historic building will be featured in the production.
VERNON, CT — Vernon Town Hall is serving as a location for an upcoming documentary.
A film crew has been at town hall this week to work on several scenes. Actress Hilarie Burton was on hand for some of the shoots.
The producers were all hush-hush about what the documentary was about, its name or on what network it will air. The did say it would air in September or October.

Burton even posed for photos with municipal staff members.
Executive producer Po Kutchins said Vernon's town hall was chosen for its historic look while also being "prefect" for the subject matter.

Burton has been featured in productions like "The Walking Dead" (2020 and 2021 as Lucille), the TV series "Lethan Weapon" as Karen Palmer, Grey's Anatomy (2013 as Dr. Lauren Boswell), the series "One Tree Hill" (2003 to 2009 as Peyton), The Secret Life of Bees (2008) and the show "Dawson's Creek (2003).
She was also a VJ for MTV.
