Vernon Transfer Station Remains Open ... With Social Distancing

VERNON, CT — The town of Vernon's transfer station has remained open during the coronavirus pandemic, albeit with social distancing guidelines.

Transfer station hours are:

• Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.

Residents dropping off items have been encouraged to practice social distancing and workers in the yard have been wearng masks.
