Vernon Woman Accused of Throwing Toddler Outside Home During Argument
She is facing a trio of charges, police said.

VERNON, CT — A Vernon woman is accused of throwing a toddler outside a house and onto a porch during a domestic incident, police said.
Akaisha Whaley, 20, of Oak Street, Vernon, was arrested at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, Vernon police said. She is accused of scratching a man in the face During a domestic incident and then throwing her 2-year-old out the door and onto an outside porch, according to an arrest report.
She was charged with third-degree assault, risk of injury to a child and second-degree breach of peace, police said.
