VERNON, CT — A fight inside a moving vehicle in Vernon over the weekend led to a woman being arrested on three charges, police said.

The incident occurred at 10:18 p.m. Saturday.

A while in a car being driven by her ex-husband with a child in the back seat, a 31-year-old Vernon woman became involved in a physical altercation with the man, who sustained several injuries as a result, police said.

The child was not hurt, police said. The woman was charged with disorderly conduct, risk of injury to a child and third-degree assault.
