Vernon's Drive-In-Package Store Robbed on Monday

VERNON, CT — Vernon police are investigating a Monday evening armed robbery at the Drive-In Package store in the Rockville section of town.

The incident was at 5:30 p.m., police said.

Police said someone armed with a knife walked into the package store located at the intersection of West and West Main streets. It was not disclosed what the bandit was able to get away with but the clerk suffered a minor injury, police said.

Police said on Monday night they have a "person of interest" in the case and continue to investigate the crime.
