Vernon's Ian McGuire Named Rock Climbing Academic All-American

VERNON, CT - Ian McGuire, a member of the rock climbing team at Paul Smith's College., has been named a 2016 Academic All-American.

McGuire, a sophomore at Paul Smith's, majors in fisheries and wildlife sciences.

Student-athletes who are sophomores, juniors or seniors with grade-point averages of 3.5 and better are eligible for the honor.

Twenty-five Paul Smith's students made this year's list.
