Vernon's Maple Street School Celebrates 100 Years Of Educating

Thursday was a centennial celebration at Maple Street School.

VERNON, CT — Thursday was a big day at Vernon's Maple Street School.

The school celebrated 100 years of education.

Hundreds of visitors visited the open house celebration. They checked out historical exhibits and a wide variety of other displays.

A team of Maple Street staff worked more than a year to organize Thursday's celebration.
