Veterans Day Trash Schedule Posted For Vernon
The upcoming holiday is altering the trash schedule in Vernon.
VERNON, CT — The Vernon Public Works Department will be closed on Monday Nov. 11, 2024 in observance of Veterans Day.
Trash and recycling will not be collected on that day, but instead it will be collected on Tuesday Nov. 12 along with that day's normal collection.
If delays occur, residents should keep carts out at the curb.
