Victorian Tea is Back!
Rockville Community Alliance is bringing back an old fashioned tea party!
Rockville. The Rockville Community Alliance (RCA) announced that it will present “Thyme for Tea” once again this holiday season. It will be held on Sunday, Dec. 4th, in the lounge at Union Church, 3 Elm Street, Rockville, from 2:00pm to 3:30 pm. There will only be one sitting this year, and reservations are required. The price will be $15.00 per person.
This event is to benefit the Miss Greater Rockville Scholarship Program which the RCA initiated in 2012. The RCA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Miss Greater Rockville 2016, Bridget Oei, and Miss Connecticut 2016, Alyssa Rae Tagila, will both attend the tea. They will be available for pictures and to talk briefly about their duties and responsibilities as reigning titleholders.
There will be a variety of teas served, accompanied by delicious sweet and savory treats. Many servers will be in costume, and attendees are encouraged to dress similarly if desired. Everyone is welcome, even young children (5 and over) with good table manners.
