Video: More Bear Tracks In Vernon ... This Time At Bolton Lake

VERNON, CT — There have been several black bear sightings in Vernon this week, including one who took a stroll around Middle Bolton Lake.

Vernon Resident Mike Armstrong captured what seemed to be a happy bear frolicking around some back yards at Middle Bolton Lake. His video was taken at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Earlier in the week, a bear was seen feasting on a bird feeder on Walker Terrace in the center of town before heading toward the Rails-to-Trails system.

A resident also reported seeing a bear on the property of the Mount Vernon Apartments.
