Warrant Charges Vernon Man With Child Porn Possession
Vernon police have charged a resident with possessing illicit images of children.
VERNON, CT — A 65-year-old Vernon man has been arrested on kid porn charges, police said Friday.
A warrant was served the previous day charging Richard Graf with one count of first-degree possession of child pornography, police said.
According to police, in August 2021, Vernon Police initiated an investigation into Graf. The investigation led to a search warrant that was executed at his home in Vernon in August 2022, according to police. A digital forensic exam of the items seized uncovered child pornography and "child erotica," police said.

Graf was being held in lieu of a $200,000 court-set bond and that bond was upheld at his arraignment Friday in Rockville Superior Court.
Police said the investigation is ongoing and are asking anyone with information on the case to call Vernon Police Detective Thomas Van Tasel at 860-872-9126.
