Warrants Served, 59 Bags Of Fentanyl Seized In Bust At Vernon Plaza
Two men were charged as part of a lengthy task force, Vernon PD narcotics investigation.

VERNON, CT — Authorities intercepted a pair of accused drug dealers at a Vernon shopping plaza.
According to a law enforcement report, members of the East Central Narcotics Task force and Vernon police served three warrants on 41-year-old Andre Eugene Story on Oct. 10 at the Tri-City Shopping Plaza as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.
After he was stopped inside the plaza, authorities located 59 bags of fentanyl, .7 grams of powder cocaine, two vials of PCP and packaging material for PCP, according to a report. For the items found in the search, Story was charged with:

Two counts of possession of narcotics with the intent to sell
- Operating a drug factory
- Possession with the intent to sell a hallucinogen
- Evidence Tampering
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Driving while under suspension
The bond was set at $150,000 for those charges.

Each of the three warrants charged Story with:
- Possession of narcotics
- The sale of narcotics
The bonds for the warrants totaled $575,000.
A passenger in Story's vehicle, 46-year-old Torey Wooding, was charged with:
- Operating a drug factory
- Possession with the intent to sell a hallucinogen
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
His bond was set at $150,000.
